I have had far better as an option at fast food restaurants. Fried dark brown and hard, the result was disappointing for a restaurant with okra in its name. It was heavily breaded and my guess is it was frozen that way. Last but not least the okra was horrible. The lima beans were heavily seasoned with what I would guess to be thyme and something else I cannot guess. I pulled this glob off which was over half the dish.

My mac and cheese was really a glob of cheese with a few noodles buried beneath it. Perhaps its edible when covered in gravy but was not as is. The biscuit was heavy, dry and tasteless.

I opted for a biscuit instead of cornbread after seeing one on another table. I ordered a vegetable plate of fried okra, mac and cheese, and lima beans. The reviews on line were quite good and I knew the place is quite popular. In the mood for some vegetables I decided to try the Page Okra Grill. What she didn’t know, she took the time to ask to find out the right information and we appreciated that when it comes to food allergies.I visit Charleston often but I am not often in Mt. She took good care of us and answered any questions we had. This place has a diner type of feel and it was hopping prior to noon. The crab fried rice was awesome! The Mahi sandwich was great also, we relaxed and took our time. The entrees were delivered hot and executed very well. My lady chose a grilled Mahi sandwich and the fried shrimp with crab fried rice caught my attention. We ordered the fried okra and a coffee cocktail to get started. We were seated and the menu boasted quite a selection. We missed breakfast this particular day but they do brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Seafood, cocktails, fresh creative takes, and any place that has the smoker rolling when you walk. Page’s really did well to check all the boxes. Looking for an excellent spot to kick off our holiday in Charleston we sought out a great casual dining experience. We were in good heaven, and a good coma! Steve and Amanda were so attentive and an utter pleasure. No idea how we had room, but ordered a gigantic slice of moist delicious carrot cake (took 75 percent with us). There wasn't one dud, and each item was sheer down home Southern perfection. I took the Fried Okra, which was like 30 pieces, the best Collards and creamy and amazing Mashed potatoes. We also shared the Fried Chicken Dinner that had two huge pieces that were perfectly seasoned and juicy (they brine). It came with two sides (we took the crabrice, which was really good, and the delicious Cole slaw and a perfect biscuit. Shared the Black Angus ribeye steak that was perfectly and huge. So, wife and I landed on an opening shareable Seafood Mac and cheese that's loaded with Andouille Sausage and Shrimp mixed in with an incredible bechamel cheese sauce, topped with breadcrumbs. and then the places manager, Steve chimed in as well! He had more taken the time to explain the restaurant's expertise. Our food server, Amanda, came over to help us with all of her recommendations of which direction. I did a lot of searching to find the restaurant that would give me when I needed which was genuine Southern cuise, and landed hopefully on this spot.
